Plenary Speaker
Sam Allberry is a pastor, apologist and speaker. He is the author of a number of books, including Is God Anti-Gay?, Why Bother with Church?, 7 Myths about Singleness, and What God Has To Say About Our Bodies.
He has written extensively for numerous organizations, including The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, and Living Out. Sam serves as Associate Pastor at Immanuel Nashville, and is a canon theologian for the Anglican Church in North America.

The morning session, led by seasoned Children’s Ministry worker, Kim Greenleaf, will emphasize developing a robust children's ministry, and the afternoon session, with youth ministry expert Duffy Robbins, will provide tools for helping youth leaders communicate the gospel to teenagers.

Dr. Walt Mueller is the founder and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (cpyu.org), a non-profit ministry serving schools, churches, and community organizations across the U.S, Canada, and worldwide in their efforts to understand youth culture, and thereby minister to kids and strengthen families.
Walt has been working with young people and families for over 40 years. Walt has served on the adjunct faculty of several undergrad and graduate institutions, and is currently co-mentoring a Doctor of Ministry Program in Ministry to Emerging Generations at Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary.
Walt’s commentary and analysis on youth culture is heard daily online and on over 880 radio stations across the United States and Canada on CPYU’s daily radio program, Youth Culture Today. He blogs (cpyu.org) and writes extensively on youth culture and family issues and is the author of ten books, including: 99 Thoughts For Parents of Teenagers (Group, 2011); The Space Between: A Parent’s Guide to Teenage Development (Zondervan, 2009), and the Gold Medallion Award winner, Understanding Today’s Youth Culture
(Tyndale House, 1994, 1999). He is a regular contributor to a variety of publications and has written regular culture columns for Youthworker Journal and Group Magazine.
Walt and his wife Lisa live in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and have four adult children; Caitlin, Joshua, Bethany and Nathaniel, and six grandchildren.

Carl Trueman is professor of biblical and religious studies at Grove City College. He is an esteemed church historian and previously served as the William E. Simon Fellow in Religion and Public Life at Princeton University. Trueman has authored or edited more than a dozen books, including The Creedal Imperative; Luther on the Christian Life; Histories and Fallacies; and The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of Village Missions. He is a conference and seminar speaker and has written numerous articles on rural and small church ministries. He has also written five books related to rural and small church ministry, Leading the Small Church, Shepherding the Small Church (ECPA Gold Medallion Finalist), Developing Leaders for the Small Church, When Shepherds Weep, and The Forgotten Church (A Christianity Today book of Merit award winner).
He is also the author of a 20-week devotional on the attributes of God, The Lighthouse: Finding Security in the Radiance of God’s Character. He grew up on a farm in northern Idaho and attended Big Sky Bible College (B.S. in Biblical Studies), Western Seminary (M.A. in Old Testament Studies, M.A. in New Testament Studies), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Doctor of Ministry). Glenn enjoys photography, woodworking, camping with his family and spending time working on the family farm. Glenn is married to Becky, and they have two adult children (Nathan and his wife Emily, Andrew and his wife Paige).

Seulgi Byun

His research interests are in the Hebrew language, ancient manuscripts, the Pentateuch, and the Prophetic books. He is currently working on commentaries on Deuteronomy and Genesis, but his favorite biblical book is Isaiah, on which he has written several articles and a monograph. Seulgi is a member at City Reformed Presbyterian church, where he serves as the Scholar-in-residence.

Kim Greenleaf is the Children’s Director at Washington Alliance Church. She also serves as the Chair of the Western Pennsylvania District Children’s Commission for the CMA. Kim and her husband, lead pastor of Washington Alliance, Brian, have been serving ministry together for all 24 years of their marriage, whether on staff or as a volunteer. Having earned her BA in Elementary Education and her MA in Curriculum and Instruction, Kim taught at Canon-McMillan School District for thirteen years before receiving the call to children’s ministry. Kim has been on the ministry team at Washington Alliance as the part-time Children’s Director for eleven years. She counts it a true honor to be able to work with children and families and point them to Jesus! She longs for the kids and families in her ministry to find Jesus irresistible and to grow in their faith.
